Born and raised in Indiana, my exposure to architecture was limited. I moved to Los Angeles in 2016. Specifically the neighborhood of Silver Lake, which became the backdrop for many of my images. I am most proud of this series because of the time it took to make. Every Sunday morning I would walk for hours looking for something pretty to shoot. It was a great way to get to know my new neighborhood. I miss that place ever day.
